Autobahn
Motorway A 43, interchange "Bochum-Witten", exit at "Bochum-Querenburg/ Universität" (exit no. 19). Universitätsstrasse direction Universität/ Zentrum, exit at "Uni - Mitte" (about 2 km). Free parking is sign posted (parking level P9).
Eisenbahn
From Bochum Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) take the Subway U35 towards Bochum Querenburg (Hustadt) and get out at stop "Ruhr-Universität". (Ticket needed: price bracket A).
On weekdays the subway U35 leaves every 5 minutes and reaches the university within 9 minutes.
Flughafen
Bochum is closely linked to Duesseldorf Airport . There is direct railway connection (30 minutes distance)
The international airport of Frankfurt is 350 km away from Bochum . The railway connection is not direct and takes more than two hours. Possible is also an arrival via Amsterdam Airport Shiphol.

From Bochum Main Station please take subway "U 35" towards final destination "Hustadt" and get out at stop "Ruhr-Universitaet". The ride takes about 10 minutes to the stop "Ruhr-Universitaet". In the daytime, the subway runs every 5 minutes (please see enclosed picture Lageplan_RUB...). For the time of the symposium we organize a shuttle.
The congress hall „Veranstaltungszentrum“ is located down under the refectory of the University (floor 04). From stop „Uni Mitte“ please head for „Audi-Max” (5 minutes away). Behind Audi-Max you will find the refectory building. There please find the signposted way to the congress hall.
